Cantor Kassel will be taking a closer look at the structure, content and choreography of our Shabbat services as well as what we do to honor our B'nei Mitzvah.

The liturgy and service structure for a Shabbat morning service are basically the same whether or not we are celebrating a Bar/Bat/B'nei Mitzvah. The main difference is that our students lead a significant amount of the service. Additionally, there are a few more additions which allow us to honor our students who have studied for years acquiring service-leading and Torah/Haftarah chanting skills. All of these will be addressed by the Cantor.

This class will be on Sunday, October 18, 2015, from 11:00AM - 11:50AM in the library.
